Gully Cricket ("the app") is a mobile cricket game published by Razvan
Mitescu. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short
version: no ads, no tracking, no selling of data — we store
the minimum needed to run the game's leaderboards and your purchase.
Data we collect
Anonymous player identity. On first launch the app
creates an anonymous account (a random identifier) via Google Firebase
Authentication. No email, phone number, or real name is required.
Display name. If you type a name on the home screen,
it is shown next to your scores on the public leaderboards. Use any name
you like — it does not need to identify you.
Gameplay scores. Completed innings (runs, boundaries,
score, game mode, difficulty, timestamp) are stored in Google Cloud
Firestore and shown on public leaderboards.
Purchase state. The one-time unlock is processed
entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details; we
store only a purchase confirmation token linked to your anonymous
identity to keep the game unlocked.
Device integrity signals. The app uses Google Play
Integrity / Firebase App Check to confirm requests come from a genuine
copy of the app. This protects the leaderboards from cheating.
What we do NOT collect
No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no third-party analytics.
No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
No payment card details (handled by Google Play).
Where data lives
Data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions)
in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region, subject to
Google's Firebase
privacy terms.
Data retention & deletion
Scores and the anonymous identity persist so leaderboards stay
meaningful. To have your scores and identity deleted, email
razvan.mitescu@gmail.com
from any address, including your display name and approximate date you
played; we will remove the associated records within 30 days. Uninstalling
the app deletes all local data on your device.
Children
The app is a general-audience game. It does not knowingly collect
personal information from children; the only user-provided data is an
optional display name shown on leaderboards.
